2005 review

Total mileage: 8339

Racing miles: ~1600

Most distance covered in a 24 h period: 305 miles (pretty much all gravel, thanks to beautiful Iowa)

Miles and time on a roadbike: 0 (say: zero)

Hours of working out: 653

Worst time on the bike: Racing the day after food poisoning (no fun, don't try it)

Best time on the bike: Why am I asking myself these hard questions - I can't really tell ya

Top finishes:
Trans-Iowa: 3rd (out of 51)
7h of Midland: 3rd (out of 27)
Shenandoah 100: 13th (out of 320)
Michigan Endurance Cup Series: 1st (resulting out of different 1st and 2nd place finishes)

Workout time and mileage (in "km", just to maintain the Euro style) per month. Don't laugh, but my workout routines are against all recommended training sessions (I simply just like to ride when I feel like it)"

Cool best/worst list! The way you track your training is very...German! (Or Deustch if you prefer) :)

Any thoughts on Razorback? I have it on my calandar, and am planning on driving down. We should chat about it soon, as it will be here before you know it!

Joe,
I'm still in for Razorback, but still don't know if I'll have to head out of town for work during that time, should find out the next couple of days. If I go I'd like to leave the D Wednesday evening. Last year we started driving Thursday and I was way too tired during the race.
