13.000 without Power

Big storm yesterday, and I felt like I was right in the middle. I'm pretty lucky lately!



It started with some big heavy raindrops, then we outrode the rain, but looking behind us was just scary. The wind caused an attack of the killer pinecones at Adam/BBeaver intersection, shortly after, huge amounts of sand blown in the face, while I tried to make my way around the branches that were all over the road. Then the rain caught me again, and I thought about looking for shelter at the bike shop. I got a little more concerned once I saw that big branch on the 300C on the side of the road, and the other smaller branch that fell down right in front of me. By the time I was on Benjamin I think most of the storm was over, and I only had to do a little road bike lawn job to one of the houses due to the huge tree that was accross the road. Since by that time I was soaked to the bone I thought I just ride it out... and by the time I was back home the sun was out again.
