How far is 60 miles?

Once I got to Germany I picked up the rental and drove from Stuttgart to Riedlingen, where I grew up. It's 60 miles.

About 20 years ago, when I was a kid, this trip seemed to take forever in a car.

Now I realize that 60 miles is a ride that is often done after work, and if it would be a weekend ride it would be a low mileage day.... funny how time changes everything.
