WRCS ride #1

All right, finally - the series started. And it was a good start. Heading out at a windchill of around 10 F this morning to ride to Roberts house and from there to the starting point of the official ride. Sweet, we already had 8 miles just getting there.

We had 9 pumped and properly coffeinated and carbo-loaded riders (that's the advantage of meeting at "Einsteins Bagels") heading out into the cold. 3 minor crashes during the ride, one flat, lots of snow and mud and not so much of the warmer temps.

Riding back home after the ride completed my first metric century (almost, but 99 km on the first new season ride counts as 100 for me) in 4:31.

Ride slow pace, it's basemile time!

...last night...
I drove back from a friends place, it was weired: I was so excited about the next morning and finally kicking off the new season that I all of a sudden saw all kinds of random pictures from the last racing season in my head.

...girls...
Since I don't have a gym any more in the new place that I live now I had to join a gym. "Lifetime" was my choice - it's huge. And there are about 1.2 million hot girls inside that building - that increases your heart rate itself, almost no need to even work out...
