Transalp 2005 Video arrived

Man it was about time - but finally I found it in my mailbox. Put it in right away, and it's just as cool as I thought. Refreshes many memories of the 8 day race I did in Europe this summer (see July archive). And I even made it into the video, full shot of my (ugly?) face, day seven, somewhere between minute 42 and 44.

There is a short version of the older 2004 video (warning: it's big, so you need a fast connection to download it - or just a lot of patience). Go watch it, it's so cool and it's so hard to describe the event and the scenery in words.

I added a counter to my blog last week - and I see there are actually people who check out my page. So I'll continue blogging. I also added a link to Jeff Kerkove - fast endurance racer from Iowa.
